    Loving the Portland SCAA videos!!

Talking of music setting the scene in coffee shops, reminds of a funny episode I had last Sunday, where my favourite coffee spot in Scotland was the quietest I had ever seen it at 11am. It soon became evident that the music choice may have had something to do with this. As the only customers inside the shop we felt the full haunting chill of the when the lone Barista went outside to serve someone……”you’re right i said to my wife, it really is Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds; Your Funeral…My Trial”.

We had fun as we watched people come in, look at each other terrified and then opt for takeaway coffee. It was only after 8 long mins of “The Carney” that the Barista gave in and put on some smooth jazz to restore normal service.

Hey we like our music dark and menacing when the mood calls for it, but the jury is out on this CD as a morning coffee theme. It didn’t stop us staying for a second Rwandan Musasa….so in the end great coffee wins over scary music!!

On a brighter note, what is the music that plays in the background of this episode, as I really need to get this?

Top man Jacob, thanks for this. I’m a sucker for a kick drum, so ‘Black Cat Veins’ and ‘When You’re Gone’ are hitting the spot this morning. FMA looks like a site I could get hooked on, cheers for the directions!
